Included in our portfolio of apartments, town-homes and houses are conventionally financed properties, HUD insured properties, Rural Development 515 properties, Section 236 properties, Section 202 properties, Rent Supplement properties, HOME properties, SMALL properties, 221 d(4) properties, and properties financed under the IRS Section 42 Code using low-income housing tax credits.
Founded in 1979 in Lexington, Kentucky, Winterwood began operations with just 115 units. Today, still headquartered in the heart of the Bluegrass, we carry the responsibility and pride of Kentucky’s largest property management company.The Winterwood portfolio comprises approximately 10,000 units at more than 240 properties, which span nine states. Currently, in addition to providing affordable housing in more than 70 counties across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Winterwood manages properties in Florida, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Along with the corporate offices in Lexington, Winterwood established satellite offices in Louisville and Shelbyville, Kentucky to accommodate our growth.
